    Tue, Jun 29 • 6p–7p • Zoom Meeting

PLEASE NOTE: When you register for one part of this event, you are registered for both parts (see description of Part 1 and Part 2 of this event below).

Join us for first part of this two-part series presented live via Zoom. Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District leads this exploration of the soil in your garden or yard. Learn about soil's amazing properties and functions.

    Part 1: The Experiment
"Plant" a 100% cotton piece of clothing in your yard or garden. Over the course of 8 weeks, microorganisms in your soil will break down the fabric.

    Part 2: The Results
Reconvene via Zoom in August and Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District will use your results to help you understand how healthy your soil is at present.

Between the two live virtual classes, Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District will provide additional experiments you and your family can perform while learning about your soil health.
