Order Summer Reading T-Shirts

 

A limited supply of shirts are available for $10 while supplies last.

NOTE: You must specify a pickup location (Mauldin, Five Forks, etc.) in the Notes field at checkout to have your order sent to the library system location of your choice. If you do not specify a pickup location, your order will be available for pickup at Hughes Main Library. Orders will be ready for pickup within 2 business days of ordering. The Greenville County Library System does not profit from the sale of t-shirts. Cost of t-shirt production is partially underwritten by the Friends of the Greenville County Library System. Proceeds from t-shirt sales help to fund Greenville County Library System classes and events.

Palmetto Basics Activities Challenge
  1. Register online.
  2. Pick up or print out your Summer Reading log.
  3. Complete 10 Palmetto Basics activities with your child and log them in their online Summer Reading profile.
Prizes
  • One board book per household, daycare, or group. Titles may vary.
  • Ticket voucher to the Greenville Drive Reading All-Star (RAS) Celebration Game
While supplies last. Substitutes may be offered. Saturday, July 27 is the last day to collect your completion prize.
Reading Challenge
  1. Register online.
  2. Pick up or print out your Summer Reading log.
  3. Read or listen for 12 hours or read 48 books and log your success in your online Summer Reading profile.

Once you've earned a Greenville Drive ticket voucher, your voucher must be redeemed for an actual ticket to the Sunday, Aug 18, 2019, Greenville Drive Reading All-Star Game, presented by Michelin.

To redeem your voucher, go to GreenvilleDrive.com/RAS. You can also enter for a chance to be chosen to:

  • Throw out the Ceremonial First Pitch (ages 8+)
  • Be the Honorary Bat Boy/Girl (ages 11+)
  • Run the bases with Reedy Rip’It following the game

FAQ

Who can participate?
Babies, children, teens & adults — everyone! Summer Reading is free, open to the public and does not require a Library card.
Can I count books that I read on my computer or e-reader?
Of course!
Where do I pick up my prize?
Pick up your prize at the library location most convenient to you. The last day to collect your prizes is July 27.
Can I count audiobooks?
You bet!
Can I join the program after its official start date?
Absolutely! While you may begin as soon as May 31, you have until July 27 to complete your challenge and pick up your prize(s).
Can I count reading that I’ve done before the official start date?
We ask that you only count reading you’ve done within the official dates of the program.
Do I need to track my Summer Reading progress as I go?
Although you may wish to track your progress throughout the summer, you may also wait to record your work until after you have completed your Summer Reading challenge.
How do I register my children for Summer Reading?
When registering, please select “I’m a parent registering myself and my kids.” This will allow you to create a family account where you can easily enter your children’s reading activities and monitor their progress.
I have successfully signed up for Summer Reading, but I’ve forgotten my username and password. What should I do?
Call or visit your favorite Library location, and a staff person will be happy to assist you.
How do I log my family’s reading progress?
Use your username and password to log in. Click on the Accounts > Family Accounts button. This button allows you to move between each family member’s account in order to log Summer Reading activities and view the progress of each child.
