Microgreens at Home

Microgreens at Home

Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District teaches you how to grow microgreens on your windowsill—from preparing your containers to planting and watering your seeds. Microgreens are the vegetable seedlings harvested very young (7-10 days after planting). They are nutrient-dense, delicious additions to many of our favorite foods. Enjoy them on a tossed salad or sprinkled on a fresh-baked pizza. Kits include growing medium (soil mix), growing containers, seeds, and a guide for microgreen growing. This event is generously supported by Duke Energy.
