Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at the Library

Art ExhibitGreenville County Library System celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with free events that explore and share Hispanic history and culture through art, dance, poetry and more. 

Visit the Hughes Main Library on Heritage Green in downtown Greenville to explore the Colorful Lands/Tierras Coloridas art exhibit. Featuring twelve local artists including Diana Farfán, Elaine Quave, and Yelitza Diaz, the exhibit runs from September 1-October 31. Art in the LibraryCall For Artists

In keeping with the Greenville County Library System’s vision to be Greenville County’s first choice for exploration, discovery and information, we are pleased to announce a call for local artists to display their work in main entry of the Hughes Main Library. With over 300,000 annual visitors, over 7,000 followers on social media and a distribution of over 13,000 newsletters bimonthly, the Library is excited to provide our patrons and county residents with the opportunity to discover local artists and provide important exposure and publicity for the artists.

The next due date for portfolio submissions will be Friday, September 29th at 5:00 PM.
