Everymonster who was anymonster gathered at the Hughes Main Library for our Wild Rumpus. Ferocious creatures tossed their claws, horns and tails to the “Monster Hokey Pokey.” Then Miss Leigh read the monsters’ favorite book Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Festivities continued with “Monster Boogie” dancing, monster musical instruments, monster games and the monster costume contest.

The time came, as it must, for all little beasties to creep back to their lairs. RRrroar! Good night.
