HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
For children 12 and younger • Register at the Greenville County Library System (GCLS) location you visit most • Register at one GCLS location only • Get a reading log
Each space on your reading log equals 30 minutes of reading. Fill the spaces in as you read (hours) OR attach paper on which you number the books you read (books). Audio books may be counted in either category.*
Level 1: 10 Hours or 40 Books

Show your timed reading log or book title list.
Get a Chick-fil-A® Icedream ® coupon.**
Level 2: 5 More Hours (15 total) or 20 More Books (60 total)

Get a Greenville Recreation District Ice Skating/Waterpark pass.**
Get a ticket voucher to a Greenville Drive baseball game.**
A Greenville Drive Summer Reading recognition game will be held SUNDAY, AUGUST 28 at 4:00p, where children accompanied by an adult caregiver will be allowed to walk in the pregame parade on Fluor Field. If you cannot attend the recognition game on August 28th, or you desire to attend a different Drive game, your voucher can be redeemed for any other Sunday-Wednesday game during the month of August 2011.
Ending Date! Don’t Be Late! Saturday, July 30 is the last day to list hours or books in your log and to collect prizes.
*Chapters do not count as a book. You may not combine hours and books – choose ONE.
