For over twenty years, Group 182 has actively worked on behalf of prisoners of conscience and other victims of human rights abuse in more than twenty "action files" – long-term cases assigned to a particular group. Those interested in working for human rights are invited to join.

Greenville County Democratic Party

The Greenville County Democratic Party (GCDP) is the local branch of the state and national Democratic Party. GCDP recruits and supports candidates for local office while helping statewide and national candidates organize within the county and win elections.  The party also organizes and connects volunteers with opportunities for involvement during elections and beyond.  Between election cycles, the party keeps local Democrats connected with each other and informed about important issues and events.

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People – Greenville Branch

The Greenville Branch is part of the South Carolina Conference of Branches, NAACP, representing over 160 adult, college, and youth units in the state of South Carolina that work together to link the proud traditions of the past struggles of African-Americans with the present and future aspirations of people of color in the Palmetto State. The SCNAACP is part of a nationwide network of advocates known as the NAACP, which continues its historic mission to resolve the conflict between race and opportunity in America.
