The Society is patriotic, historical, and educational. Its purposes are to care for and restore historical sites; to educate residents as to the history and deeds of American Colonists; to foster love of America and its institutions; and to obey America's laws and venerate its flag.

Daughters of the British Empire in the United States of America – Redcoat Chapter

The DBE brings together ladies of British Heritage residing in South Carolina to share common interests and to promote companionship with others of a similar background and philosophy. The Redcoat Chapter meets on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the International Center of the Upstate, located in Greenville City Hall.

General Society of the Mayflower Descendants in the State of South Carolina

A group of people all around the world who are directly descended from original passengers on the Mayflower. The group can render assistance to those who would like to research a direct bloodline descendant or an original passenger of the Mayflower.

Military Officers Association of America – Greenville Chapter

The association is a fraternal organization of commissioned and warrant officers of the seven Uniformed Services of the United States. Membership is open to Active, Reserve, National Guard, and Retired members of all the services. The group sponsors educational assistance, survivor assistance, insurance, travel, and retiree employment services.

Retired Officer Wives Club

The Club is a sisterhood of wives and widows of retired military officers. The group meets the 3rd Wednesday. Times and places vary. Call for more information.

The South Carolina Society of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution has been active since 1891.   Since the beginning, the organization has worked to serve God, Home, and Country and promote the objectives of the DAR. More information on DAR chapters in Greenville is available at the State website above.

The oldest Southern heritage and patriotic organization made up of the lineal (direct) and collateral female descendants of the soldiers, sailors, and statesmen of the Confederate States of America (1861 - 1865). The UDC is a historical, educational, benevolent, patriotic, and memorial organization.
