Antique Automobile Club of America. South Carolina Region

The purpose of the Club is the research, development, and restoration of original antique and classic cars, as well as the fellowship of members. Individuals must be a national member in order to join the local group.

Embroiderers' Guild of America – Up Country Chapter

The Up Country Chapter of the Embroiderers Guild of America is for those people who enjoy working with a threaded needle or those who would like to learn embroidery, needlepoint, counted thread, Hardanger, pulled and drawn thread, ribbon embroidery, blackwork, and more. In addition, the guild participates in workshops and community projects, goes on field trips, and has the opportunity to attend regional and national seminars. Meetings are held at 10:00 am on the 3rd Thursday of each month at John Knox Presbyterian Church, 35 Shannon Drive, Greenville, SC. Guests may attend two meetings before joining.

Foothills Piecemakers Quilting Guild

An organization formed to create and encourage interest in Quilt making and quilts. Visitors are welcome at monthly meetings. The Guild has programs and classes on quilting by nationally known instructors and participates in local festivals, schools, and quilt shows. Monthly meetings are held the 1st Thursday at 7:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church Fellowship Hall (located on the lower level) at 5020 Old Spartanburg Road, Taylors, South Carolina. Greenville Coin Club

The Coin Club has been in existence for 48 years. The focus of the organization is for the enjoyment and education of those who are interested in coins and currency. There is a short business meeting followed by an auction of coins and currency. The club meets every Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm at the Sears Shelter, 100 Park Place, Greenville, SC 29602.

Greenville Doll and Toy Collectors

The doll club is concerned with education about dolls of all types, from antique to modern. Members collect a wide variety of dolls and learn a great deal from each other. As a member of the United Federation of Doll Clubs, the group has the capability to rent extensive programs from their office. The main goal is to have fun, learn, and support worthy community projects when there is a fit. Visitors are welcomed. The club meets the 3rd Monday from 4-7 pm.

Greenville Stamp Club

The Greenville Stamp Club is a chapter of The American Philatelic Society and draws its membership from all over the Upstate. The club meetings promote friendship and fellowship while incorporating the interests of philately, stamp collecting. An average meeting consists of buying, selling and/or trading, a club meeting, and a stamp related program. Meetings are the 3rd Friday at 7:00 pm held at the Sears Shelter, 100 East Park Avenue.

Greenville Woodworkers Guild

The club aims to assist members with improving their woodworking skill level, to assist other upstate charitable organizations with their skills, and to elevate the public's knowledge of woodworking as an art form. The Guild operates an Education Center Shop: a fully equipped woodworking shop usually open weekdays from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturdays. Harley Bonds Career Center in Greer at 5056 North Main Street.

Greer Stamp Club

Meetings are held at the Jean M. Smith Library of Greer on the 2nd Saturday of the month from 9:00 am-11:30 am.

Mini-G.A.M.E

Mini-Game is a miniature and dollhouse club. Enthusiasts share ideas & knowledge with others on collecting, creating, displaying, buying, and selling miniatures. Members meet with others who share a mutual interest in the hobby to exchange ideas, learn new techniques, share sources and display their efforts. The Club works on projects such as miniature bed & breakfast inns and miniature soda & ice cream parlors, etc. Beginners are welcome. The group meets in members homes on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of each month.

Palmetto Cutlery Club

The Palmetto Cutlery Club is an organization dedicated to trading and collecting cutlery related items, combating fraud, counterfeiting and opposing misguided and unwise information in the knife collecting circles. The club welcomes anyone with an interest in cutlery. Regular scheduled meetings are held the 1st Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Greer Recreation Center, 226 Oakland Avenue.

Palmetto Pleaters

The Palmetto Pleaters are a local nonprofit chapter of the Smocking Arts Guild of America. The group organized in 2002 with the purpose of offering exciting opportunities for anyone interested in heirloom needlework. Guests are invited to visit one of the monthly meetings to learn more about the art and improve skills while sharing the group’s love of many types of needlework, especially smocking. Park Avenue Duplicate Bridge Club

An American Contract Bridge League sanctioned club whose members play duplicate bridge. The club meets Mondays from 9:30 am -1:00 pm at the Sears Shelter at 100 Park Avenue.

Parker Coin Club

The Parker Coin Club is an organization for coin and currency collectors. The club meets every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm at the Summary Courtroom located in the Westwoood Plaza, at 6247 White Horse Road.

Piedmont Wood Carvers Club

The Club Promotes wood carving as an art form and teaches interested persons to carve. Activities include monthly meetings and an annual competition show in the fall. The club meets on the 3rd Saturday for a carve-in from 9:00 am -5:00 pm at the Mauldin Cultural Center, Room 17, on Mauldin Road, Mauldin, SC

South Carolina Knitting Guild

The South Carolina Knitting Guild is a group of hand knitters of all levels of experience who meet to learn and have fun. Programs address areas of interest to the group and include new techniques, ways to improve our knitting, and exchange of ideas. The group contributes hundreds of hand-knitted items to various charity groups each year. Meetings are the 2nd Monday at 6:45 pm at the Junior League of Greenville, 118 Greenacre Road.

Western South Carolina Gem and Mineral Society

The Western South Carolina Gem & Mineral Society has as its purpose the study and enjoyment of all fields related to gems, mineral and earth science. Meetings are held the second Monday of each month at 7:30 pm. (Refreshments from 7:15-7:30 pm) at Northside United Methodist Church, 435 Summit Drive. Visitors are welcome and are invited to become members of the organization. The Western SC Gem & Mineral Society also holds monthly rockhounding field trips to various locations.
