Christian Homeschooler's Association of South Eastern South Carolina

The Christian Homeschooler’s Association provides information on special needs, learning modalities, diplomas and transcripts, South Carolina support groups, South Carolina Home School laws, and South Carolina accountability associations.

Furman University Learning in Retirement is part of the Division of Continuing Education located on the Furman campus and is one of over 300 Lifelong Learning Institutes established at colleges and universities throughout the United States to encourage adults to pursue academic courses in a stimulating and pleasant atmosphere.

Greenville County Education Association/Retired

The Association keeps retired educators informed about insurance, legislation,
and personal safety and also provides social interaction.

Greenville County School District

Greenville Literacy Association

Greenville Literacy recruits and trains community volunteers to provide instruction for adults who request assistance. Greenville Literacy has five fully equipped and staffed learning centers across Greenville County and assists church and neighborhood literacy programs near these centers.

Roper Mountain Science Center

The primary mission of the center is to foster enhanced learning and growth opportunities through educational excellence and high quality instructional programs for students, teachers, and the general public. The center is owned by the School District of Greenville County, which provides the full-time staff and operational support. In addition, the nature trails, arboretum, and butterfly garden are available to the public any time the main gate is open.

Sterling High School Alumni Association

The Alumni Association membership is for any former student, faculty or staff member of Sterling High School. The purpose of the association is to maintain and preserve the history of Sterling High School and to encourage and promote communication among alumni of Sterling High School. The association also plans, organizes, and conducts programs and events that commemorate the legacy of Sterling High School.

South Carolina Geographic Alliance – University of South Carolina

The SCGA is a partnership between the National Geographic Society and the State of South Carolina to bring the content, skills, and teaching methodologies of modern geography to the K-12 classroom by providing professional development opportunities and teaching materials to South Carolina educators.
