Civitans are everyday citizens who come together in communities throughout the world to make life better for their neighbors. Family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers meet at local Civitan clubs to socialize, learn, and serve in communities. Civitans seek to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.
