Glamorous girls of all ages decked out in feather boas, pretty hats, and plenty of pink and purple flocked to the Hughes Main Library on May 22 to partake in the “Fancy Nancy Ice Cream Social”. After a reading of Fancy Nancy, we enjoyed Nancy’s favorite treat – parfaits, and played “Pin the Jewel on the Tiara”, “Feed the Posh Puppy”, and other games. We made our own fancy princess wands and ended the program by dancing around to “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun”. We had such a marvelous time, that we decided to repeat the program in the Fall!
