We Appreciate Our Donors

Since the 1930s, the Greenville County Library System has been promoting the importance of summertime reading for youth through prize incentives, events and special programs. This year the library is excited to report that the Greenville Drive, Greenville Rec, Chick-fil-A and AT&T have all renewed their support in the summer reading program with thousands of dollars worth of donated incentives. Joining the group are new sponsors: Target and Barnes & Noble Booksellers. Target has donated funds for children’s programs and Barnes & Noble has donated funds for the adult summer reading prize drawing. Longtime supporters, the Friends of the Greenville County Library System, are sponsoring the kickoff and many other children’s summer reading performances.

This project is made possible by a Library Services and Technology Act grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services administered by the South Carolina State Library.
