ImageAcademic OneFile -- One-stop source for millions of peer-reviewed, scholarly full-text articles in HTML and PDF formats from over 8,000 of the world's leading academic journals and reference sources. Comprehensively covers the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects. Multimedia feature includes podcasts and transcripts from NPR, CNN, and the CBC, as well as full-text New York Times content to 1995.


New York Times -- Complete full text content including the Book Review and Magazine. Paid ads are excluded. New additional electronic versions feature exact digital reproductions of the printed edition, with keyword searching and ability to browse the full publication. All pages, including advertising, photos and graphics are included.

International Dictionary of Films and Filmmakers 4th ed., 4v, 2001 -- Thorough coverage of legendary films, actors, actresses, directors, writers, and other production artists through detailed essays and commentary by experts. Entries include biographies, filmographies, comprehensive credits, production information, major awards, and bibliographies.


Websites
Character Actors -- Bio sketches, filmographies, and television appearance listings of character actors. The website includes an alphabetical index sorted by the last name, first name, age, film, tv, and guest appearances. Search by last name, first name, or by film or television appearance. Also includes trivia, interviews and links to related sites.


Encyclopedia of Television -- Browse the alphabetical index of 1,000+ original that examines specific programs and people as well as general historic moments and trends. Topics include violence, tabloid television and the quiz show scandal as well as histories of major American television networks.


Internet Movie Database -- Billing itself the “Earth’s Biggest Movie Database,” IMDb contains detailed information on film and television productions such as the complete cast, director, writers, film crew, release dates, plot lines as well as user comments and recommendations, links to external reviews, and more.


Metacritic Film -- A clearinghouse of film criticism excerpts with films (both wide and limited releases) ranked on a 100-point score. Also includes weekend box office data and an upcoming releases calendar.


The Greatest Films -- Detailed commentary and historical background for classic Hollywood and American films of the last century. Other features include descriptions of the 100 Greatest Films (with selection criteria), Academy Awards winners and extensive history by year (with Best Picture posters), illustrated film history by decade, the all-time Box-Office 100 Hits (adjusted and unadjusted for inflation), lists and descriptions of of famous cinematic moments, and much more.
