Mission

Through the resources and leadership of its members, the Alliance for Small Businesses and Nonprofit Organizations will create, identify, and provide access to services, training, professional development, and information resources in support of small businesses and nonprofit organizations. The Alliance seeks to create a statewide network of resource centers by initiating coordination and collaboration between existing providers of services, information, and facilities.

Goals

• Small businesses and nonprofit organizations in South Carolina will be provided access to educational, technical assistance and information resources at minimal or no cost.
• Peers from nonprofit organizations and small businesses learn and network together.
• Sound business practices are shared and applied within the business or nonprofit organization.
• The resource centers are an electronically accessible resource for networking and accessing needed information and services.
• The statewide resource centers create a distribution system of knowledge and current practices.
• Community and economic development progress in South Carolina is enhanced by Alliance activities.
• The collective services and resources from Alliance member organizations are available to their constituencies.
