Adult Calendar
Find programs offered to Adults at the library. Whether you’re looking for book discussions, special events, classes, tours, workshops, or lectures, the Greenville County Library System has something to offer.

Book Discussions
In addition to the regular monthly book discussions held at Simpsonville, Berea, and Fountain Inn, there are special discussion series, and even a knitting and book discussion group. Search the online calendar for a book discussion group near you, or if you have your own group, get help in choosing a book with What to Read.

Classes
The Greenville County Library System is pleased to offer two levels of survival Spanish language classes, various computer classes, and ESL classes through our partnership with Lifelong Learning of the Greenville County Schools. These classes are offered to library card holders and seniors at a reduced rate. All registration is done through Lifelong Learning.

Library Instruction
We offer a variety of free classes to help library patrons use the library’s many resources, including GED test preparation databases, MyLibraryDV, the Rosetta Stone Online Language Learning Center database, and ValueLine and Reference USA demonstrations.

Tours
South Carolina Room orientations and tours are offered several times a year, and include an in-depth tour and personalized genealogical assistance. Check the online calendar or contact the South Carolina Room about the next scheduled South Carolina Room tour.

General library tours for groups of adults are available, and usually require 48 hours notice. Tours may be customized to meet the needs of the group. Please call 527-9293 to schedule a tour of the library.

Workshops and Lectures
We offer free educational programs for adults of all ages, including current event discussions, panel discussions, lectures, parenting workshops, and do-it-yourself instruction. Search the online calendar to see what is coming up.
