Ever wonder where gasoline comes from? Students will explore how petroleum
forms, how deposits are located, and how fossil fuels eventually become gasoline
and plastics. Students will try their luck at striking oil in our computer
training lab. Program open to all 6th-8th graders. Registration is limited

Beginning Sewing, Part 2
Saturday, December 13, 2:00p-4:00p
Hughes Main Library, Meeting Room A
You will further your knowledge of hand sewing and learn basic sewing machine
operation. You will also sew your own sock monkey. Individuals who are familiar
with basic sewing, but did not complete the first class, may participate. Participants
must bring one pair of long tube socks. Open to all 6th-12th graders. Registration
